At Abbey Mount Funeral Chapel, we understand that saying goodbye to a loved one is an intensely personal experience. Our chapel, located in the heart of Barrow-in-Furness (LA14 5LU), offers a peaceful, serene, and private setting for families to reflect and honour their loved ones.
Our chapel can comfortably seat up to 80 guests, providing an intimate environment for those wishing to hold a small, private gathering or a larger service, after service refreshments can be provided at the venue, state of the art music and visual tribute equipment is installed to help create a personal service. We also offer private parking for your convenience, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience when you visit us.

Whether you're visiting during regular hours or have arranged an out-of-hours appointment, our team will be ready to assist you. The chapel is a tranquil space, offering a safe and respectful place for family members to gather, reflect, and commemorate their loved one’s life.
Our chapel is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but we are also happy to arrange out-of-hours appointments to ensure that you have the flexibility to visit when it suits you best.

In keeping with our "Leaving the Light On" pledge, we offer 24-hour care for your loved one. This means that they remain in our care at all times, and families can rest assured knowing that we are here for you every step of the way. Our dedicated team ensures that your loved one is treated with dignity and respect, offering peace of mind during a difficult time.
